On the 9th October Coalville RFC will be holding their annual mini festival

9th October sees Coalville RFC staging their annual Mini Festival at their Memorial ground Hall lane Whitwick. With around 600 children aged between 3yrs and 12 yrs taking part in games throughout the day, following the RFU new rules of play format. Teams from as far as Rotherham will be taking part this year with many local sides from Ashby, Burton and Leicester.
With Coalville's RFU awarded Kids first status all the games will be played competitively with trophies being awarded for Respect and Teamwork in each age group. The whole day is about children enjoying sport in a safe environment. There is also a chance to see our U6 Cub squad in action having some rugby fun with Vipers RFC Micro's. This is for children aged 3yrs to 6yrs and introduces them to rugby through fun and games.
The entrance fee to the festival is £3 per car and £1 per pedestrian which is still one of the cheapest festivals in the area. So come along and support your local club.
