We are now into the 7th week of pre-season, Overall I am pleased with where we are as a squad, competition for places is good the boys are putting in the graft as expected and we are moving forwards.

The next few weeks we will start to up the anti in terms of the physicality and patterns of play in preparation for the first league game on the 9th September. We start this weekend with a training match away at Syston this Saturday with 40 of senior squad taking part.

New recruits Sam Massarella and Matt Fisher have integrated well into the squad but will not be on show this weekend due to family commitments. Physio Aaron Briers is working hard in the new gym on the return of Twiggy,Bill Grant and Will keeling who are expected to available for selection for the first league game.

We hope to see a few familiar faces over at Syston cheering on the lads.
