Undefeated run comes to an abrupt end

A disappointing result to say the least for Coalville on their travels to Kesteven as the first period unfolded it was clear to see that their game plan completely went astray.The home side pressed from the off pinning the visitors in their own twenty-two for the opening thirty minutes scoring two converted tries,the only saving grace for Coalville was that the forwards were winning most of the set scrums and after a yellow card for the hosts Billy Grant stormed over in the corner to reduce the deficit.A further yellow for Kesteven just before the break didn't bode well as the half came to a close.Two minutes into the second period and Billy Savory touched down and converted for Coalville after good work from James Parker and Danny Freer.The visitors were now on top and another yellow card for the home team enabled Savory to put Coalville into the lead from the resulting penalty.With an hour gone Coalville shot themselves in the foot as a breakaway try put the hosts under the posts for a seven pointer.With time running out Coalvilles endeavor produced a try out wide for Eddie Rothstein to bring the them within one point with the conversion to come but the ball came back off the post.
