Coalville Under 11's Victorious Again

After a hard fought loss away at Ashby. Coalville bounced back to keep the home win record going for this season. They prepared with a great training session on Thursday, and were using many of the skills taught to contest rucks and mauls to their benefit. Good passes, and offloads.

Everyone played brilliantly, in fact our opponents commented once again on how good our team of superstars are developing into a formidable side to face!

Tries rained in for Coalville seemingly at will, combined with strong defence. Shout out for some great catching of the ball from kick offs and restarts. Territorial for tactical purposes was undertaken when needed, and usually possession retained. Or, quickly won back.

Another hard week for the supporters’ to choose their Player Of The Week. However with a stunning display of running, passing and scoring Jenson secured enough votes to win it.

Huge thank you to Jace, Junoah, and Phoebe for sportsmanship when they played for Shepshed, and extremely well! Congratulations on the tackles and passed boys! Phoebe your try after that sprint down the touchline left our vocal supporters speechless in amazement.

The Coaches’ Player Of The Week was hard to find just one player to award it to. However, for his stepping to the captain this week; the passes, the tackles, and embodiment of rugby values. It was awarded to Alfie.

The team performed to a high standard today. The improvements continue. The lessons are getting learnt, and the determination from every player to be the best shows.
