Back to winning ways with a bonus point win

Coalville got back to winning ways at the weekend with a hard fought victory over Lincoln with a 5 try 27-17 scoreline.

Lincoln were the first on the scoreboard with a penalty, after the Memorial ground side spurned a couple of chances in the opening few minutes. After 10mins, a break by Billy Measures from halfway put Will Keeling in for the first try and 10 mins later rolls were reversed as Keeling sent Measures in for try number 2 for the hosts.
Thirty mins in Coalville lost Joe Rumming to a yellow card but Lincoln went one better with 2 yellows in as many mins shortly afterwards.Coalville held a 7 point lead at the interval.
Lincoln levelled the scores 5 mins into the second half with a converted try after some slack defending at the breakdown. Coalville quickly restored the lead with a Jake Nash try only for Nash to be red carded for retaliation after a Lincoln player was late with the tackle who received a yellow card for his misdemeanour. Yet another yellow card for Lincoln on 57 mins enabled Keeling to notch his 2nd try of the game.Eddie and Henry Rotstein came on for the hosts with Coalville encamped in the visitors 22 but once again failed to make the most of the chances and a turnover ball by the visitors sent their speedy winger the length of the pitch to dot down under the posts 20-17.Coalville s final score came by way of a penalty try after too many infringements by the visitors left referee no choice but to award the penalty try.A bonus point win for Coalville to put them in 5th place in the table.
