A great game between two strong teams, both with large sets of forwards and equally good backs. It was a physical, hard fought game of rugby for both sides, but Coalville's continuous drive to get the win prevailed. Captained by Tom Logue the forwards dominated in the scrums with Sam Gadsby getting 2 outstanding tries.
A few old faces decided to turn out for Coalville, with the likes of veteran David Pickering playing at 9 and former Coalville 1st team regular Adam McDermott in the second row.
A man of the match performance from Jamie Nash with his superb tackling and commitment throughout the 80 minutes. Then close second Thomas Clare breaking the game line every time he had the ball.
A big change in mentality from the start of the season with new 'Head Manager' of Coalville 2's, Jack Gibbons showing that a young manager with a passion for the team to succeed will prevail and will get results.
All in all a dominating performance by Coalville 2's RFC with a very respectable 34-5 win over Quorn RFC.
